Yes we ask for a deposit, it will the equivalent of a full months storage price.

Do I have to come into the office to sign contracts or can I do it online?

It can all be done online.

Do I need to show proof of ID? What ID do I need to show?

Yes we will need to show a form of photo ID. This will either be a passport or drivers licence. We can send you a link to upload your ID online also.

What is the minimum and maximum length of stay?

The minimum length of stay is 1 week. There is no maximum length of stay, stay as long as you need!

How much notice do I need to give to move in?

This is dependant on our availability, but as long as we have space it can be as soon as possible.

How do I lock my unit? - Do I need to provide my own padlock?

If you take out insurance with us we can offer you a half price padlock! Otherwise you can buy one through us or provide your own.

Would I be able to store a vehicle at this site?

What happens after I book?

Once you have reserved your storage on Explorage.com, you will receive an email from us confirming your details. You will also be able to access your reservation at any time from your Explorage.com dashboard, which you can login to.

The storage operator will also receive a similar email (and a call for good measure), and will then contact you directly to request any additional details they might need to complete your storage agreement, this often includes verifying your ID, confirming payment details, and signing the storage agreement. Once this is completed, you can move your things in :)

How soon can I move my things in?

Moving in to your storage unit is quick and easy, and the timing depends on the storage operator you choose.

To get started, simply click "Reserve" for the storage unit you want and choose a preferred "Move In" day from the available calendar. The calendar will indicate any days that are unavailable for moving in, such as Sundays or days that require prior notice.

Once you've made a reservation on Explorage.com, the storage operator will contact you via email to request any additional details needed to finalize your storage agreement. This may include verifying your ID and signing the agreement. Once the formalities are completed, you can usually move in right away.

Additionally, you can find information about the storage operator's office hours and the hours you can access your storage unit, which might be different.

If you have an urgent moving need or can't find suitable move-in dates on the calendar, feel free to reach out to us via call or message. We'll do our best to make arrangements with the storage operator on your behalf.
